Finals Permutations

So many reasons to get along and support your teams this weekend, let’s break down the finals permutations:

If the Devils win 1 and the Swarm win 1: The Swarm are knocked out and the Devils leave the door open to be knocked out by the Admirals.

If the Devils win both games: The Devils are in prime position, but will still be knocked out if the Admirals win their 4 remaining games.

If the Swarm win both games: The Swarm will go into second and the Devils will be knocked out. The Swarm can still be overtaken by the Admirals.

If the Admirals win 1 and the Stampede win 1: The Admirals will need the Devils to lose a game to the Swarm, plus win their last 2 games against the Thunder.

If the Admirals win both games: The Admirals will be in control of their own destiny and will make the finals if the can beat the Thunder in both games the following week.

If the Stampede win both games: The Admirals will be knocked out.

So there you have it, Devils fans, you’re cheering for the Stampede. Admirals fans, you’re cheering for the Swarm. And that’s not hell freezing over, it’s always that cold in the rinks.
